About the name

legalUpdated

Diginova is an independent publication with no connection to the research consortium that published on this domain before it, to the funding programme that paid for that work, or to any of the institutes that took part. Nobody from the project is involved in this site, and nothing here is published with their approval or on their behalf.

Where the name comes from

DIGINOVA was a European research project on digital fabrication, carried out under Grant Agreement 290559 of the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme. Its public website was published on this domain and operated by Fraunhofer ENAS. The project’s own pages are preserved here, at their original addresses, in Digital Fabrication — 29 documents among them, dated between 2013 and 2025.

What this publication is not

This site is not that project, not its consortium and not any of the organisations that took part in it. It does not speak for them, has no access to them, and cannot answer for them. Where their names appear on archive pages — as the affiliation of a speaker, or as an entry in the partner list — they appear because the project wrote them there, and we left them as written. Removing a name from an attribution would not make the page neutral; it would make it false.

If the project is what you were looking for

Start at Purpose and Background & Progress; the partner list is at Project Partners and the papers at Downloads. Nothing there has been edited into something it did not say.
