Presentations
Editor’s note
A single talk is recorded on this page, given at Industrial Technologies 2012 in a session on printing industrial products, and the slides behind it are available as a download. The speaker is named with the position he held at the time, at one of the companies in the consortium.
The talk is worth noting for its framing rather than its length. It presents inkjet printing as a key enabling technology for digital fabrication, which is the argument the whole project was built on: that a print head, scaled and controlled properly, is a manufacturing tool and not an office accessory. The roadmap published at the end of the project, on the downloads page of this archive, is where that argument was worked out in full. Other appearances by the consortium, with the partners and the kind of session in each case, are listed on the page about where to meet the project.
