Editor’s note

This is the tail of the fabrication listing, and it reads differently from the first page. The section is ordered newest first, so what is left here is the oldest surviving material on the subject: the furniture of the project’s own website rather than its findings. The news log, the statement of purpose, the seminar page and the list of presentations were written to be read alongside each other by people following the work while it ran.

They are kept because they are the only place where the project says in its own words what it was for and in what order it made things public. For current reporting on digital fabrication, and for the project documents themselves, start from the first page of this section; for the four pages below, the stamp at the top of each one says when it was first published.
